Terms of ServiceAfter 14 years of serving our customers with “Eyewear to Fit Your Personality and Lifestyle” we pride ourselves in excellent customer service, the finest in eyewear and sunglasses, and the most advanced lens technology.

As one of Denver’s most successful eyewear retailers, we are now extending our many services, and fine products to the internet. Our mission is to make your doing business with International Optique a convenient, pleasant and successful experience.

With these promises in mind we offer the following terms of service:



Can I Return/Exchange my order?

Return Policy:
It is very important to us that you be 100% satisfied with your purchase, or you may return your item within 30 days of invoice date for a full refund, less original shipping and handling charges. The item must be returned in New, Unused and Unworn Condition with all packaging intact and no damage of any kind to the item. Please enclose your original packing slip to insure proper credit to your Credit Card, or PayPal account. Returns must be sent prepaid and fully insured for the full price of the item by a trackable service such as United States Postal Service, Federal Express, or UPS. Before returning your item please email us at for a return authorization number. support_returns@internationaloptique.com

Items returned without the (RMA) number will be returned to the sender.

Exchange Policy:
We are happy to provide you with a one-time only exchange policy on your purchased Eyeglasses, or Sunglasses within 30 days from your invoice date. The item must be returned in New, Unused and Unworn Condition with all packaging intact and no damage of any kind to the item. Returns must be sent prepaid and fully insured for the full price of the item by a trackable service such as United States Postal Service, Federal Express, or UPS. Before returning your item, please email us at
support_returns@internationaloptique.com for a return authorization number, and clearly mark this (RMA) number on the outside of your returning package.

What should I do if I receive an Incorrect/Damaged order?

You should refuse the order if the package shows extensive damage, and call us at 1-888-555-9880. Claims should be made directly to the delivering carrier. If the returned item is not in our stock at time of your return, please allow 5-10 business days (not including weekends, or holidays) to process and return your order to you. If you have already accepted the item and you find it Incorrect/Damaged upon opening, please return the item immediately, prepaid and fully insured, for the full price of the item by a trackable service such as United States Postal Service, Federal Express, or UPS. We will reimburse you up to $6.00 of your return shipping costs for an Incorrect/Damaged order. Before returning your item please call us at 1-888-595-9880, or email us at
support_returns@internationaloptique.com for a return authorization number, and clearly mark this (RMA) number on the outside of your returning package.

What about prescription lenses?
Frames/Sunglasses sent to us to add Prescription Lenses, or Sunglass lenses are consider a medical device and are a custom made product. We are pleased to fill your prescription order if you will provide a copy of your doctor’s prescription by either US Postal Service, Fax, Scanned email, or we will be glad to contact your doctor if you provide his phone number, so we can verify your prescription.

Since all prescriptions lenses are custom made they do not qualify for refunds.

Frequently, our customers order a new frame with their prescription lenses and are not satisfied with the look of the frame. Should you wish to return any frame for exchange, or refund within 30 Days, there will be a 20% re-stocking fee as long as all packaging (including demo lenses, cases, and warranties are included with your return.

Returns after 30 Days will not be accepted. Please note prescription lens do not qualify for refunds.

In the event there is a doctor’s change in your prescription within 30 days of your invoice date, we will do a one-time re-make of your lenses at a 50% discount plus shipping charges.

Is there a Prescription Lens Guarantee?

At International Optique we make sure your prescription is filled according to your doctor’s written prescription. Our quality control department assures you of having the correct prescription. In filling prescriptions for a frame that have a base curve (generally offered in sunglasses) you will find that there are specific parameters that we do not exceed in order for your lenses to be visually correct.

There are only a limited number of sunglass manufacturer's who manufacturer and supply optical prescription lenses for their specific sunglass lines. When our sunglass suppliers offer authentic lenses for their frame brands we are bound by their laboratory standards, and have no control over their specific manufacturing. If there are any questions about optics, you will be referred to the manufacturer directly to address, or correct any prescription issues.

What about Manufacturer’s Warranty Policies?

If you should encounter a warranty problem with your eyeglass, or sunglass frame please call us immediately at 1-888-555-9880. All prescription frames are covered with a limited warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase against manufacture’s defects. Frames that are not warranted are frames that have been misused and abused, and are the call of the manufacturer. Should the frame no longer be available from the manufacturer, the frame will be replaced with a different color or model of equal or lesser value. Customer service will contact you in situations where this might occur.

Please Note: Sunglass lenses do not fall under a limited warranty. There is no scratch warranty on sunglass lenses.
